Saying Goodbye to the Last Daughter of Alderaan.

Carrie Fisher

10/21/1956 - 12/27/2016

Today, there is a great sadness in the force.

The Flying Pincushion mourns and loss of actress, author, and advocate Carrie Fisher.

She showed the world (and me) how much Imperial arse a woman could kick as Princess Leia.  Beyond that role however, Carrie Fisher was an accomplished author, speaker, and a tireless mental health advocate, among many other things.

Her family and friends have our deepest condolences and sympathy.

But much like the Rebellion her most famous character fought for, her accomplishments, both on film and off, will live on.

The Spirit of the Season...Primate Conflict!

Silver backs, silver backs (yeti)
It's Christmas time in the Himalayan Mountains
Bi-t-ing, (scre-a-ming) hear them fi-ght-ing (ba-tt-ling)
Soon it will be Christmas day

The Holiday season is upon us...be afraid, be very afraid.

Also, still not sure who made this a Christmas card...Darwin while very drunk perhaps?

Merry X-Mas from all of us at The Flying Pincushion!
